Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hrs (Permanent) Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

Job Background

We are excited to be offering an excellent opportunity to join our IT Department, where you will manage the service desk on a day-to-day basis and provide support to users and clients.

Role Summary

Duties include (but are not limited to):-

  • providing daily administration of the service desk and provide first line support to users and clients. Ensuring all service requests are logged and resolved promptly or escalated as required.
  • Support windows-based desktop environment
  • You will provide support for hardware and software related issues.
  • Administer, trouble shoot, manage and maintain the various company systems
  • Provide support to various IT Projects as required
  • Adapt and deliver against priorities
  • Provide operational support for the client service environment, backups, data management user account administration

About the Person

We are looking for someone with the following personal qualification and attributes:

  • Ideally you would have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Good communication to manager, peers, and operators.
  • Have a willingness and ability to learn
  • You will be good at problem solving
  • Good basic knowledge of EDI across a range of protocols
  • AS400 experience: OS file structure, utilities AS4000SQL would be desirable
  • Flexible to meet the ever-changing demands of the business.
