Site Accountant
Hours: Monday – Friday 37.5hrs per week – Full Time, Permanent

Job Background:
We are excited to be offering an excellent opportunity for a Site Accountant to join our company.
You will manage and prepare the accounts for our UK entities and be responsible for Financial Statements, journals, and balance sheet reconciliation.
Role Summary:
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Maintain and develop the financial control environment.
- Month end close activities and reporting
- Preparation of all Statutory Financial Statements at year end.
- Production of annual budgets and forecasts including P&L reports, balance sheets and cash flow forecasts.
- Provide financial analysis to the management team
- Present the company’s financial performance
- Conducting commercial / operations margin analysis
- Carry out monthly risk assessments on all financial statements and cost centres.
- Manage the intra group consolidation process.
- Processing payment runs.
- VAT Preparation (UK/Ireland/ Belgium)
- Manage and maintain the fixed asset register.
- Supporting the commercial / operations finance team and wider business with key projects
- Take the lead on various business projects
- Continuous Improvement to business processes
- Manage the year-end audit.
- Established in management, and financial accounting and reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
About the Person:
We are looking for someone with the following personal qualification and attributes:
- You will be ACA/ACCA qualified
- Have strong accounting skills and technical knowledge on financial reporting matters including the ability to work from first principles.
- Have a very good working knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS
- IT literate, ideally in accounting packages and have very good excel spreadsheet skills.
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills (written and oral).
- Demonstrate a professional attitude to leading a quality service on challenging assignments in a deadline driven environment.
- Exhibit flexibility in changing client environments.
- Be proactive and able to identify opportunities for business development.
