We have full time, permanent vacancies for Warehouse Operatives; you will typically be involved in:
Safely collect pallets of WIP and finished goods from the shop floor when required.
Take pallets of WIP and packaging to the shop floor when required.
Book pallets in and out and locate pallets using Adeila system.
Loading and unloading lorries.
Performing all aspect of the role to the required standard, in line with the written procedures identified in the training and assessment records.
Comply with the Company Policies to ensure the quality, safety & legality of products is maintained at all times.
Comply with H&S regulations to provide a safe working environment for you and your colleagues.
Comply with Company Personal Hygiene Policies at all times.
Carry out cleaning tasks as directed by the Key Operator.
Accurately and legibly complete documentation associated with this role.
Attend and be receptive to any training required for this role.
Prepared to undertake a forklift truck training, stacker truck training, level 2 food hygiene and chemical safety training also undertake refresher courses as and when required.
Follow “clean as you go “principles to ensure the surrounding area is clean and tidy at all times.
The successful candidate will need to:
Follow written and spoken instructions, and production schedules.
Pay attention to detail even when tasks are repetitive.
Be able to act quickly when a problem arises.
Have good standards of literacy.
Be able to work as part of a team.
Be flexible with their approach to working hours.
We have shifts available that rotate weekly, including:
Monday – Thursday 6 am -2 pm and 2 pm – 10 pm.
Friday 6 am – 2.15 pm and 2 pm – 8.30 pm.
Having your own transport and previous experience of working in a fast placed food manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
